Her expertise
Since 2022, Myriam HOWALD has been part of abci Avocats | Rechtsanwälte, where she advises companies and their executives on a wide range of legal matters, primarily in employment and corporate law.
She provides both counsel and representation in individual and collective employment relations, employment litigation, and social security matters.
A trainee attorney at the École régionale des avocats du Grand-Est (ERAGE), she will be admitted to the bar in January 2026. She holds a Master’s degree in Private Law – Comparative Law from the University of Strasbourg, an LL.M. in German and European Law from the University of Heidelberg, a University Diploma in English Legal Terminology, and a dual French-German law degree from the „Centre juridique franco-allemand” (CJFA) in Saarbrücken. Her strong international background and cross-border expertise make her a valuable asset to the firm.
Within the firm, she also oversees communications, business development, and talent recruitment. She is actively engaged in professional and community organizations, including the Young Business Leaders Club of the German-French Chamber of Commerce (AHK) and the Deutsch-Französische Juristenvereinigung (DFJ).
Fluent in French and German, Myriam HOWALD also advises clients in English, has a working knowledge of Italian, and holds Swiss, German, and French citizenship.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends and is an avid volleyball player, bringing her energy and team spirit from the court into her professional life.
