Lennart GEBELE has been a lawyer at abci Avocats | Rechtsanwälte since 2018 and is a member of the Bar Association of Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany).
He advises French and German companies, as well as international groups, at all stages of their development. His practice areas include company formation, restructuring operations, and mergers and acquisitions. He specializes in cross-border projects, particularly those within the Franco-German economic area.
Regarding legal compliance, he helps companies set up and monitor internal control systems and provides legal analysis of complex situations with regard to national and European requirements. He is also involved in internal investigations and the legal handling of potential violations of internal or regulatory standards.
He began his legal training at the “Centre Juridique Franco-Allemand” (CJFA), a Franco-German program offered jointly by the University of Saarland and the University of Lorraine. He obtained his bachelor‘s degree in French law from the CJFA. He then continued his studies at Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, passing the first state examination in German law. During his Referendariat at the Regional Court of Offenburg, he completed several internships that enabled him to gain practical experience in international economic law early in his career. He finished his legal training by passing the second state examination in German law.
